Responsibilities
- Design & Refine: Create sophisticated, multi-step prompts to elicit high-quality responses from Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI tools.
- Model Optimization: Conduct A/B testing and iterative fine-tuning of prompts to improve model accuracy, tone, and relevance.
- System Integration: Integrate prompt engineering workflows into existing software pipelines and APIs.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of prompt libraries, best practices, and model behavior guidelines.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Data Scientists and Product Managers to translate business requirements into effective AI solutions.
- Ethical AI: Identify and mitigate potential biases or safety risks in AI-generated content.
- Training: Mentor junior engineers and stakeholders on effective prompt strategies.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering, NLP, or a related technical field.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Python and familiarity with OpenAI API, LangChain, or Hugging Face.
- Writing Skills: Exceptional command of the English language with a keen eye for grammar, tone, and nuance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to debug complex AI output issues.
- Tools: Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate) and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures.
- Communication: Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
