Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and refine complex prompts to optimize the performance of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI systems.
- Analyze user interactions to iteratively improve response quality, accuracy, and safety.
- Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to fine-tune model parameters based on user feedback.
- Create comprehensive documentation for prompt libraries and usage guidelines.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI research and implement best practices in prompt engineering.
- Test and validate AI outputs against specific business requirements and quality benchmarks.
- Train junior staff on effective prompt writing techniques and AI tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, English, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Prompt Engineer, AI Writer, or similar role working with LLMs.
- Deep understanding of how transformer models work and the nuances of natural language processing.
- Strong command of the English language, with exceptional grammar, vocabulary, and rhetorical skills.
- Proficiency in Python or SQL is highly preferred for data manipulation and analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about AI limitations.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently with a flexible schedule.
