Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and refine advanced prompts for LLMs and generative AI systems
- Conduct A/B testing and performance analysis of prompt variations
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate prompt engineering into user workflows
- Create documentation and best practices for prompt optimization
- Stay current with emerging AI techniques and industry benchmarks
- Mentor junior engineers on prompt design methodologies
- Develop evaluation frameworks for prompt effectiveness
Qualifications
- 3+ years in prompt engineering, NLP, or related AI field
- Expertise in GPT-4, Claude, or comparable LLM platforms
- Strong Python programming skills with data analysis libraries
- Portfolio demonstrating prompt optimization projects
- Exceptional written communication and creative problem-solving
- Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Bachelor's degree in CS, Linguistics, or related field
