Responsibilities
- Model Optimization: Design, develop, and refine complex prompts to maximize the performance, accuracy, and safety of LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, Claude, Llama).
- Output Evaluation: Analyze AI-generated responses for nuance, hallucination, and relevance; iterate on prompts to improve quality.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Machine Learning Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product Managers to translate business requirements into effective AI prompts.
- Testing & Iteration: Establish rigorous testing frameworks to measure the efficacy of different prompt strategies and document best practices.
- Instruction Tuning: Assist in the fine-tuning process by generating high-quality training data and instruction sets for model training.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive guides and libraries of prompt templates for internal stakeholders and the wider engineering team.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in copywriting, technical writing, or a related field with a focus on AI/LLMs.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts and how LLMs function.
- Programming: Proficiency in Python is a plus; experience with APIs and data manipulation is highly desirable.
- Communication: Exceptional command of the English language with a keen eye for grammar, tone, and style.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to deconstruct complex problems into actionable prompt components.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, English, or a related field is preferred.
