Job Description
Are you ready to define the future of human-AI interaction? Nexus Logic AI is seeking a visionary Senior Prompt Engineer to lead our Generative AI initiatives. In this high-impact role, you will bridge the gap between human creativity and artificial intelligence, crafting the precise instructions that drive Large Language Models (LLMs) to deliver exceptional results.
As a key player in our Chicago-based tech hub, you will work with cutting-edge models like GPT-4 and Claude, optimizing prompt chains, and establishing best practices for enterprise AI deployment. If you have a knack for linguistics and a deep understanding of machine learning architecture, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Architect Complex Prompt Chains: Design and implement multi-step prompt sequences that guide LLMs through intricate logic tasks with high accuracy.
- Optimize Model Performance: Conduct rigorous A/B testing and performance analysis to refine prompt structures, ensuring optimal output quality and reduced hallucination rates.
- Develop Prompt Libraries: Create scalable, reusable prompt templates and documentation for internal teams, democratizing AI capabilities across the organization.
- Collaborate with Data Science: Partner with ML engineers to align prompt strategies with model fine-tuning objectives and dataset curation.
- Content Strategy & Tone: Curate the voice and persona of AI outputs to match brand standards, ensuring consistency across all customer-facing AI interactions.
- Feedback Loop Management: Analyze user interactions and feedback to continuously iterate and improve prompt logic.
Qualifications
- Experience with LLMs: Proven track record of working with OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar LLM APIs, with a portfolio of successful prompt engineering projects.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of Python, JSON, and API integrations; ability to write scripts to automate prompt testing.
- NLP Expertise: Solid background in Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts, including tokenization, embeddings, and context windows.
- Exceptional Writing: Superior command of English grammar, rhetoric, and creative writing with the ability to write in specific, technical styles.
- Problem Solving: Analytical mindset with the ability to deconstruct complex problems into actionable, step-by-step prompts.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, English, or a related technical field.
