Responsibilities
- Architect Complex Prompts: Design, test, and refine sophisticated prompt chains and system instructions to drive high-quality outputs from LLMs.
- Model Optimization: Analyze model responses to identify bias, hallucinations, or inaccuracies, and implement strategies to improve reliability.
- Iterative Testing: Conduct rigorous A/B testing and statistical analysis on prompt variations to optimize conversion rates and user satisfaction.
- Documentation & Frameworks: Build and maintain a company-wide library of prompt templates, best practices, and style guides.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Data Scientists and Product Managers to define AI requirements and translate business goals into technical prompt strategies.
- Research: Stay ahead of industry trends in NLP and prompt engineering to continuously innovate our approach.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering, technical writing, or a related field.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of Large Language Models (GPT-4, Claude, etc.) and their capabilities/limitations.
- Programming: Proficiency in Python and basic scripting for data manipulation and testing.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a knack for translating complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, English, or a related field.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues and think critically about system architecture.
