Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize advanced prompt architectures for large language models (GPT-4, Claude, LLaMA)
- Collaborate with ML engineers to fine-tune model behavior through iterative prompt refinement
- Create comprehensive prompt libraries with version control and performance metrics
- Lead prompt engineering workshops for cross-functional teams (product, engineering, design)
- Develop evaluation frameworks to measure prompt efficacy and model alignment
- Research emerging techniques in few-shot learning and chain-of-thought prompting
- Document prompt engineering best practices and contribute to internal knowledge base
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering or applied AI/ML roles
- Expertise with LLMs (GPT-4, Claude, Gemini) and their fine-tuning methodologies
- Strong programming skills in Python with experience in ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Proven track record of shipping production-level AI systems
- Deep understanding of NLP techniques including transformers and attention mechanisms
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published research in NLP/ML or open-source contributions to AI projects
