Responsibilities
- Model Optimization: Design, implement, and refine sophisticated prompt templates to maximize the accuracy, creativity, and safety of outputs from LLMs such as GPT-4 and Claude.
- Evaluation & Testing: Conduct rigorous A/B testing and iterative testing to evaluate model performance against specific business KPIs and ethical guidelines.
- Workflow Integration: Integrate prompt engineering workflows into existing software architectures, utilizing tools like LangChain and OpenAI API.
- RAG Implementation: Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines to enhance model knowledge bases with proprietary enterprise data.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation and style guides for prompt engineering best practices to empower internal teams.
- Stay Ahead: Continuously research emerging AI trends, architectures, and regulatory frameworks to keep our technology cutting-edge.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in prompt engineering, NLP, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python or JavaScript, with experience using API integrations for AI models.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to deconstruct complex problems into actionable AI instructions.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Tools: Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate) and model fine-tuning frameworks (Hugging Face, LoRA).
