Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize complex prompt chains and architectures for LLMs to maximize output quality and accuracy.
- Conduct rigorous A/B testing and evaluation of model outputs to iteratively improve system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to integrate AI solutions.
- Establish best practices, documentation standards, and templates for prompt engineering within the organization.
- Debug and troubleshoot model hallucinations and edge-case behaviors to ensure robust deployment.
- Stay ahead of the curve by researching emerging prompt engineering techniques and model updates.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, data science, or a related technical field.
- Deep understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and transformer architecture.
- Proven expertise in working with Large Language Models (e.g., GPT-4, Claude, Llama).
- Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and automation of prompt workflows.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to think abstractly about language and logic.
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
