Responsibilities
- Design, test, and optimize prompt architectures for GPT-4, Claude, and custom LLMs
- Develop reusable prompt libraries with version control and documentation
- Collaborate with ML engineers to fine-tune model behaviors and outputs
- Conduct A/B testing on prompt variations to maximize response quality
- Document prompt engineering best practices and create training materials
- Monitor production prompts and iterate based on performance metrics
- Partner with UX designers to align AI responses with user expectations
Qualifications
- 3+ years in prompt engineering or NLP-focused AI roles
- Portfolio demonstrating complex prompt design projects
- Expertise in Python and prompt frameworks like LangChain
- Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Chroma)
- Strong understanding of LLM limitations and mitigation strategies
- Certification in AWS/GCP AI/ML services preferred
- Published research in AI interaction design a plus
