Responsibilities
- Design, test, and optimize prompt architectures for enterprise LLM applications
- Develop evaluation frameworks for prompt performance and accuracy
- Create reusable prompt libraries and documentation for engineering teams
- Collaborate with ML engineers to fine-tune model behavior
- Conduct A/B testing on prompt variations to maximize output quality
- Document prompt engineering best practices and train internal stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging LLM capabilities and industry benchmarks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or related field
- 3+ years of prompt engineering experience with production LLMs
- Expertise in GPT-4, Claude, or equivalent large language models
- Strong Python programming and API integration skills
- Portfolio demonstrating complex prompt engineering projects
- Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, etc.)
- Deep understanding of transformer architectures and attention mechanisms
- Certification in AI ethics or responsible AI practices preferred
