Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test advanced prompt engineering strategies for GPT-4, Claude, and proprietary LLMs
- Create comprehensive prompt libraries with version control and performance tracking
- Collaborate with ML engineers to fine-tune model behavior through iterative prompt refinement
- Develop prompt-based evaluation frameworks to assess AI output quality and alignment
- Document prompt architectures and best practices for cross-functional knowledge transfer
- Conduct A/B testing on prompt variations to optimize response accuracy and relevance
- Lead prompt engineering workshops to upskill technical teams on AI interaction principles
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in prompt engineering or NLP development
- Proven track record of shipping production-level AI applications using LLMs
- Expertise in Python with experience in AI frameworks (LangChain, Hugging Face)
- Deep understanding of transformer architectures and attention mechanisms
- Strong analytical skills with ability to deconstruct complex AI outputs
- Portfolio demonstrating prompt engineering projects with measurable impact
- Experience with MLOps tools and CI/CD for AI model deployment
- Excellent written communication with ability to translate technical concepts
