Responsibilities
- Design and optimize advanced prompt strategies for production AI systems
- Conduct systematic prompt testing and performance benchmarking
- Collaborate with ML engineers to fine-tune model behavior through prompt engineering
- Create reusable prompt templates with version control and A/B testing frameworks
- Develop evaluation metrics for prompt effectiveness and user satisfaction
- Document prompt architectures for enterprise knowledge base
- Stay current with emerging LLM capabilities and prompt engineering techniques
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on prompt engineering experience with GPT-3.5/4 or equivalent LLMs
- Portfolio demonstrating 15+ production prompt systems with measurable impact
- Expertise in NLP fundamentals including tokenization, embeddings, and attention mechanisms
- Proficiency in Python and prompt engineering frameworks (LangChain, Haystack)
- Experience with MLOps pipelines and prompt versioning systems
- Strong analytical skills with A/B testing methodology
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly prompts
- BS/MS in Computer Science, NLP, or related field
