Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize prompts for LLMs to achieve specific business outcomes
- Conduct A/B testing on prompt variations to maximize model performance
- Document prompt engineering methodologies and create reusable prompt libraries
- Collaborate with data scientists to refine model training datasets
- Monitor and troubleshoot prompt-related issues in production environments
- Train stakeholders on prompt engineering best practices
- Stay current with emerging LLM capabilities and prompt engineering trends
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering or NLP-focused development
- Proven track record of optimizing prompts for GPT-4, Claude, or similar LLMs
- Strong understanding of AI model limitations and bias mitigation techniques
- Expertise in Python and prompt frameworks like LangChain or DSPy
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable prompts
- Experience with MLOps tools and CI/CD for AI workflows
- Portfolio demonstrating successful prompt engineering projects
