Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced prompt strategies for large language models (LLMs) including GPT-4, Claude, and proprietary systems
- Conduct iterative prompt testing, analysis, and optimization to improve AI response accuracy and relevance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (AI research, product development, UX) to integrate prompt engineering solutions
- Develop documentation frameworks for prompt libraries and best practices across organization
- Monitor emerging AI model capabilities and adapt prompt engineering methodologies accordingly
- Present prompt engineering frameworks and performance metrics to technical stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with prompt engineering for LLMs or NLP systems
- Expertise in designing prompts for complex conversational AI and generative applications
- Proficiency in Python and prompt engineering frameworks (LangChain, Hugging Face, etc.)
- Strong understanding of transformer architectures and attention mechanisms
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to quantitatively evaluate prompt performance
- Experience working in agile development environments with version control (Git)
