Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced prompt engineering strategies for large language models
- Develop test frameworks to evaluate prompt efficacy across diverse use cases
- Collaborate with ML engineers to fine-tune model behavior through prompt optimization
- Create documentation and playbooks for prompt engineering best practices
- Lead workshops to train product teams on prompt development techniques
- Analyze user interaction data to iteratively improve prompt performance
- Research emerging prompt engineering methodologies and tools
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering or NLP model development
- Expertise with GPT-4, Claude, or comparable LLM architectures
- Proven ability to translate complex requirements into precise prompt instructions
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating successful prompt optimization projects
- Excellent written communication skills for technical documentation
- Experience with A/B testing frameworks for prompt evaluation
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Linguistics, or related field
