Responsibilities
- Design and implement sophisticated prompt architectures for production AI systems
- Conduct A/B testing and iterative optimization of prompt strategies
- Develop evaluation frameworks to measure prompt efficacy and output quality
- Create documentation and playbooks for prompt engineering best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate prompts into product workflows
- Research emerging LLM capabilities and adapt prompt techniques accordingly
- Mentor junior engineers on prompt design principles
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering or NLP-focused roles
- Proven expertise with LLMs (GPT, Claude, LLaMA) and fine-tuning workflows
- Strong background in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow)
- Exceptional written communication and linguistic precision skills
- Portfolio demonstrating complex prompt engineering projects
- Experience with MLOps tools and CI/CD for AI systems
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Linguistics, or related field
