Responsibilities
- Architect Prompt Chains: Design complex, multi-step prompt sequences to guide LLMs through intricate reasoning tasks and generate high-fidelity outputs.
- Optimize Model Performance: Continuously test and refine prompts to reduce hallucinations, improve tone consistency, and enhance response relevance.
- A/B Testing: Execute rigorous comparative analysis of different prompt variations to determine the most effective strategies for diverse user personas.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to integrate prompt logic directly into production APIs and user-facing applications.
- Documentation & Strategy: Maintain comprehensive documentation of prompt libraries and develop scalable frameworks for prompt management across the organization.
- Trend Analysis: Stay at the forefront of AI research, experimenting with new model architectures and techniques to keep our technology competitive.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in AI, NLP, or a related technical field, with at least 2 years specifically focused on Prompt Engineering.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Python for automation and scripting, with a deep understanding of how APIs like OpenAI GPT-4 and Anthropic Claude function internally.
- Creative Writing: Exceptional command of language, grammar, and creative expression; capable of adapting tone for diverse contexts.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to debug complex logic failures in generative outputs.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, English, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Portfolio: A demonstrable portfolio or case studies showcasing successful prompt engineering projects.
