Responsibilities
- Design, test, and optimize advanced prompt architectures for production-level LLM deployments
- Develop prompt engineering frameworks for complex multi-turn dialogues and specialized domain applications
- Create evaluation protocols for prompt efficacy using quantitative metrics and A/B testing
- Collaborate with ML engineers to fine-tune model behaviors through iterative prompt refinement
- Document prompt libraries and engineering standards for enterprise-wide adoption
- Lead workshops to upskill teams on prompt engineering best practices
- Research emerging LLM capabilities to identify innovative application opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on prompt engineering experience with production LLMs (GPT-4, Claude, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating 5+ complex prompt engineering projects with measurable outcomes
- Expertise in Python and prompt frameworks like LangChain or Haystack
- Deep understanding of transformer architectures and attention mechanisms
- Experience with fine-tuning and RLHF methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
