Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable backend services using Java/Python
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization for 24/7 deployments
- Debug and resolve critical production issues during night shift hours
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Contribute to cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP
- Collaborate with global teams via Slack/Jira
- Drive code reviews and maintain quality standards
- Document technical solutions for cross-shift handoffs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in Java, Python, and cloud-native architectures
- Proven night shift or rotational schedule experience
- AWS/GCP certification or equivalent hands-on experience
- Strong background in microservices and containerization (Docker/K8s)
- Excellent problem-solving skills under pressure
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
- Experience with distributed systems and high-traffic applications
