Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade network infrastructure including routers, switches, and wireless systems
- Implement and optimize network security protocols (firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection)
- Perform proactive network monitoring and troubleshooting using advanced tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Collaborate with cloud teams to integrate hybrid network solutions (AWS/Azure)
- Document network configurations and create comprehensive technical documentation
- Lead network upgrade projects while ensuring minimal business disruption
- Mentor junior technicians and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise network administration with Cisco/Juniper certification
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and other routing protocols
- Hands-on experience with SD-WAN implementation and automation tools (Ansible)
- CCNP/JNCIP certification or equivalent advanced networking credentials
- Proven track record in network security implementation and compliance (NIST, HIPAA)
- Experience with network virtualization and cloud networking technologies
- Strong problem-solving abilities with 24/7 on-call rotation experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required
