Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise-grade network infrastructure including LAN/WAN configurations
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Cisco Prime
- Troubleshoot complex network issues including security breaches and connectivity failures
- Implement and maintain network security protocols (Firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS)
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid cloud integration projects
- Provide Level 3 support for escalated network incidents
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper networking equipment
- CCNP/JNCIP certification or equivalent expertise
- Proficiency in network automation tools (Ansible, Python)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLANs
- Experience with network virtualization (SDN, NFV)
- Security certifications (CompTIA Security+, CEH) preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotations
