Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize complex LAN/WAN infrastructures including Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba solutions
- Proactively monitor network performance using SolarWinds and PRTG to prevent outages
- Lead network security initiatives including firewall management and intrusion detection systems
- Collaborate with cloud teams to hybridize on-premise and AWS/Azure environments
- Document network topologies and create disaster recovery protocols
- mentor junior technicians through technical training sessions
Qualifications
- 5+ years enterprise-level network administration with CCNP/JNCIP certification
- Expertise in routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and SD-WAN technologies
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNets)
- Security clearance eligibility for government contracts
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
