Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize LAN/WAN infrastructure including Cisco routers and switches
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Implement security protocols (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS) to protect against cyber threats
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide 24/7 on-call support
- Document network configurations and create disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network solutions with business goals
- Manage cloud networking services (AWS/Azure) and hybrid cloud environments
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise network administration
- Cisco CCNP or equivalent certification required
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configurations
- Proficiency in network automation tools (Ansible, Python)
- Experience with SD-WAN and SDN technologies
- Strong analytical skills and ability to resolve complex technical issues
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Valid California driver's license for occasional site visits
