Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Cisco Prime
- Resolve network outages and security incidents with SLA-driven response times
- Implement network security protocols (VPN, ACLs, IDS/IPS)
- Document network topology and create technical procedure manuals
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid architecture integration
- Perform capacity planning and bandwidth optimization
Qualifications
- CCNA/CCNP certification or equivalent experience required
- 3+ years hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper infrastructure
- Expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN technologies
- Strong troubleshooting skills with network analyzers (Wireshark)
- Familiarity with AWS/Azure networking services
- Experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Python)
- Valid Texas driver's license for occasional site visits
