Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco/Juniper network equipment including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG to ensure 99.9% uptime
- Implement and maintain network security protocols (VPN, ACLs, IDS/IPS)
- Document network topology and create/update SOPs for operational procedures
- Collaborate with cloud teams to hybridize on-premises and AWS/Azure infrastructure
- Lead network upgrades and migrations with zero downtime
- Provide Tier 3 support resolution for critical network incidents
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise network administration experience
- CCNP/JNCIP certification or equivalent advanced networking credentials
- Expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN technologies
- Hands-on experience with SD-WAN solutions (e.g., Viptela, Cisco vManage)
- Strong scripting skills (Python/PowerShell) for automation
- Ability to manage complex multi-site network architectures
- Excellent problem-solving skills with network diagnostic tools
- Active Security+ certification preferred
