Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-grade network solutions including LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless systems
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Cisco Prime
- Resolve network outages and security incidents with SLA-driven response times
- Document network topology, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid infrastructure deployments
- Conduct regular network audits and vulnerability assessments
- Lead network upgrade projects including Cisco IOS/Junos migrations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Cisco CCNP/JNCIP certification required
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLANs
- Proficiency with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
- Experience with SD-WAN solutions (e.g., Viptela, Cisco SD-WAN)
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Ansible preferred)
- Previous experience in high-availability environments (99.99% uptime)
