Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and optimize enterprise-grade network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Implement robust security protocols (VPN, IDS/IPS, encryption) to protect critical data assets
- Monitor network performance using advanced tools (SolarWinds, PRTG) and proactively resolve issues
- Lead network migration projects and disaster recovery planning for hybrid cloud environments
- Document network architecture changes and maintain compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless network solutions
- Provide Tier 3 support and mentor junior technicians
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (CCNP/JNCIP certification required)
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise network administration with complex LAN/WAN setups
- Expertise in Cisco, Juniper, and Arista network hardware
- Proficiency in automation tools (Ansible, Python) and network virtualization (SD-WAN)
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and advanced routing protocols
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) and hybrid architectures
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure
