Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and optimize Cisco/Juniper network hardware and software solutions
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and Nagios; proactively resolve issues
- Implement cybersecurity protocols including VLAN segmentation and firewalls
- Document network topologies and create disaster recovery procedures
- Collaborate with cloud teams to ensure seamless hybrid infrastructure integration
- Mentor junior technicians and conduct quarterly network training sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on network administration experience with Cisco/Juniper
- CCNP or JNCIP certification required; CCIE/JNCIE preferred
- Expert knowledge of BGP, OSPF, and advanced routing protocols
- Experience with AWS/Azure networking services and SD-WAN implementation
- Strong analytical skills with network troubleshooting methodologies
- Excellent written/verbal communication and stakeholder management abilities
