Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, VPN, and cloud solutions
- Monitor network performance using advanced tools like SolarWinds and Cisco DNA Center
- Lead troubleshooting initiatives for complex network outages and security incidents
- Document network configurations and create disaster recovery protocols
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement zero-trust architectures
- Train junior technicians on network best practices and vendor-specific technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper routers and switches
- Expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and advanced routing protocols
- Certifications: CCNP/JNCIP or higher required
- Proficiency in network automation tools (Ansible, Python)
- Strong analytical skills for diagnosing multi-layer network issues
- Experience with SD-WAN and cloud networking (AWS/Azure)
