Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and wireless networks.
- Troubleshoot network performance issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
- Configure and manage firewalls, routers, and switches to ensure network security.
- Monitor network traffic and analyze data to optimize system performance.
- Collaborate with system administrators to ensure seamless integration of network hardware and software.
- Provide technical support and training to junior staff members.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; equivalent experience is accepted.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in network administration or telecommunications.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, routing, and switching.
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools and diagnostic software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
