Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and PRTG tools
- Implement and maintain network security protocols including VPN and VLANs
- Document network configurations and create disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with cloud teams to hybridize network architecture
- Lead network upgrade projects and vendor negotiations
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex network outages
- Mentor junior technicians and conduct security audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience with Cisco CCNP/CCIE certification
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and QoS
- Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere and Hyper-V
- Familiarity with AWS/Azure networking services
- Strong scripting skills in Python or PowerShell
- CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Proven experience with network automation tools like Ansible
