Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex LAN/WAN infrastructures including Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba solutions
- Lead network security initiatives including firewall management, intrusion detection, and vulnerability assessments
- Optimize network performance through traffic analysis, capacity planning, and QoS implementation
- Coordinate cloud migration projects and hybrid cloud architecture integration
- Document network configurations and create disaster recovery procedures
- Provide Tier 3 support for network outages and incident resolution
- Mentor junior technicians and conduct regular training sessions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise network administration experience with Cisco/Juniper certifications
- CCNP/CCIE or equivalent advanced network certification required
- Expertise in SD-WAN, network virtualization, and automation tools
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and advanced routing protocols
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and network security frameworks
- Proven ability to manage network budgets and vendor relationships
- BS in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Valid North Carolina driver's license required
