Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and firewalls
- Proactively monitor network performance using advanced tools like SolarWinds and Cisco DNA Center
- Resolve complex network outages with SLA-driven incident response protocols
- Collaborate with cloud teams to integrate hybrid cloud solutions (AWS/Azure)
- Document network configurations and create detailed technical documentation
- Lead network security initiatives including VPN implementations and threat mitigation
- Train junior technicians on best practices and emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (CCNP/JNCIP certification acceptable)
- 5+ years experience with enterprise network administration in hybrid environments
- Expertise in Cisco, Juniper, and Arista networking hardware
- Strong proficiency in network automation (Python/Ansible) and scripting
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN protocols
- Experience with SD-WAN implementation and network virtualization
- ITIL Foundation certification preferred
- Ability to lift 30lbs for equipment installation
