Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Configure and troubleshoot network hardware and software, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance to ensure 99.9% uptime and identify potential issues before they occur.
- Implement and manage security protocols to protect sensitive data from cyber threats.
- Provide technical support and training to junior staff and end-users.
- Conduct regular network audits and capacity planning.
Qualifications
- Certified Network Professional (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in network administration or engineering.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and switching.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Relevant Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
