Responsibilities
- Design and deploy enterprise-level network architectures using Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba technologies
- Implement advanced security protocols including VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Lead network optimization projects to improve performance and reduce latency
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network outages and performance issues
- Document network configurations and maintain compliance with industry standards
- Mentor junior technicians and conduct technical training sessions
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid infrastructure solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of enterprise network administration experience
- CCNP or equivalent certification (CCIE strongly preferred)
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configurations
- Hands-on experience with network automation tools (Python, Ansible)
- Proven troubleshooting skills in complex multi-vendor environments
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance (if required)
