Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable network infrastructure using Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba technologies
- Implement advanced security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems
- Lead network migration projects with zero-downtime requirements
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network issues and outages
- Develop network automation solutions using Python and Ansible
- Conduct capacity planning and performance optimization
- Mentor junior engineers on industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of enterprise network administration experience
- CCNP/CCIE or equivalent certification required
- Expert knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
- Experience with SD-WAN and cloud networking (AWS/Azure)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, or Bash)
- Valid Tennessee driver's license for occasional client site visits
