Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable network solutions including LAN/WAN, VPN, and cloud connectivity
- Lead network optimization projects to enhance performance, security, and redundancy
- Manage Cisco infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls) and troubleshooting complex issues
- Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and security policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network solutions with business objectives
- Monitor network health using tools like SolarWinds and Cisco DNA Center
- Implement zero-trust security frameworks and compliance protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on enterprise network administration experience
- Cisco CCNP or CCIE certification required
- Expertise in BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and MPLS protocols
- Strong knowledge of network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) and SD-WAN solutions
- Proficiency in automation tools (Python, Ansible) and network monitoring platforms
- Ability to work independently and manage high-priority incidents
