Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable network solutions including LAN/WAN, VPN, and cloud connectivity
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Cisco Prime
- Lead network security initiatives including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access control
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects and migrations
- Document network configurations and maintain up-to-date topology diagrams
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and implement proactive maintenance
- Stay current with emerging technologies (SD-WAN, 5G, automation)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of enterprise network engineering experience
- Certifications: CCNP/JNCIP or higher (CCIE/JNCIE preferred)
- Expertise in Cisco, Juniper, and Arista network hardware
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and multicast protocols
- Experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Python)
- Proven track record of managing complex network migrations
