Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and remote access tools.
- Manage and maintain the organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and hardware infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
- Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot endpoints, including Windows and macOS devices, mobile devices, and printers.
- Administer Active Directory, user accounts, security protocols, and group policies to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to implement security patches, monitor system alerts, and conduct vulnerability assessments.
- Conduct regular system audits, perform preventative maintenance, and document technical procedures for the knowledge base.
- Train and mentor junior staff members on best practices for IT support.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Certification such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional IT support experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN technologies, and wireless protocols.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
