Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) for the 2026 World Cup ecosystem.
- Optimize database performance and network architecture to handle millions of concurrent users during peak events.
- Implement robust security protocols and disaster recovery plans to protect sensitive fan data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate real-time data feeds into consumer-facing applications.
- Monitor system health and performance using advanced observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
- Lead incident response efforts and root cause analysis for technical outages.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
- Deep expertise in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience managing infrastructure for high-traffic, large-scale events is highly preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of Linux system administration and scripting (Python, Bash).
