Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level security solutions, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM platforms.
- Lead incident response and forensic investigations for security breaches, minimizing downtime and data loss.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify potential weaknesses.
- Develop and automate security protocols using Python and scripting languages to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Monitor threat intelligence feeds and provide actionable recommendations to the executive team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, SOC operations, or threat intelligence.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in network protocols, operating systems (Linux/Windows), and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Experience with security tools like Splunk, Sentinel, or FireEye.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
