Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive security solutions including firewalls, SIEM, and IDS/IPS systems.
- Lead incident response investigations and coordinate with legal and management during security breaches.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Monitor security events 24/7 and perform threat hunting activities to proactively identify malicious actors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or SANS GCIH are highly desired.
- Strong proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and scripting languages (Python, Bash).
- Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
