Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable machine learning pipelines for large-scale pre-training and fine-tuning of LLMs.
- Research and prototype novel architectures for Generative AI, including text, image, and code generation models.
- Optimize model inference speed and reduce latency using techniques like quantization, distillation, and edge deployment.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to integrate AI capabilities into consumer-facing applications.
- Ensure data privacy, model robustness, and compliance with emerging AI regulations.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning, deep learning, or natural language processing.
- Expert proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face Transformers.
- Strong understanding of transformer architectures, attention mechanisms, and reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF).
- Experience deploying models to production environments (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
