Responsibilities
- Model Architecture & Development: Design, train, and fine-tune proprietary Large Language Models (LLMs) and multimodal systems using PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- System Optimization: Implement efficient inference pipelines and optimize model latency and throughput for real-time applications.
- Research Implementation: Translate academic research papers into production-ready code and experiment with emerging paradigms such as Agentic workflows.
- MLOps & Deployment: Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for model deployment using Kubernetes and Docker, ensuring high availability and security.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the engineering team.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and data scientists to define technical roadmaps and deliver high-impact features.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Technical Skills: 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering and machine learning, with a deep focus on NLP and Generative AI.
- Programming: Proficiency in Python, with strong experience in C++ for performance-critical components.
- Frameworks: Extensive experience with Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, or similar orchestration frameworks.
- Experience: Proven track record of deploying large-scale machine learning models into production environments.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment.
