Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy scalable Large Language Model (LLM) inference pipelines optimized for low-latency, high-throughput environments.
- Research and implement cutting-edge techniques in reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF) and Constitutional AI to enhance model alignment.
- Lead the design of agentic workflows, enabling autonomous systems to reason, plan, and execute complex multi-step tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of researchers, product managers, and engineers to integrate AI capabilities into consumer-facing applications.
- Optimize model quantization and pruning strategies to deploy large models on edge devices and constrained hardware.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the company’s technical knowledge base and open-source contributions.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, with a focus on Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence.
- 5+ years of professional experience in building production-grade AI systems or research experience in top-tier academic institutions.
- Deep expertise in PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX, with a demonstrated ability to contribute to open-source projects.
- Strong understanding of transformer architectures, attention mechanisms, and multimodal learning paradigms.
- Experience with distributed computing frameworks (Ray, Kubernetes, Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Proficiency in C++ for high-performance computing and CUDA programming.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
