Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological advancements across AI, biotech, and emerging domains
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario planning models for executive decision-making
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-tech insights into roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Deliver executive briefings and whitepapers on disruptive technologies and market implications
- Establish cross-functional innovation initiatives with R&D, engineering, and commercial teams
- Represent the company at global tech forums and industry foresight conferences
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating emerging tech trends into business impact
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and scenario planning frameworks
- Deep knowledge of AI/ML, quantum computing, and sustainable tech ecosystems
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and public speaking abilities
- Published thought leadership in technology or futures publications
- Certification in strategic foresight or innovation management preferred
