Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology foresight strategy, identifying emerging trends with 5-10 year impact
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, neural interfaces, and climate tech
- Collaborate with C-suite to align innovation pipeline with business objectives
- Present visionary frameworks to stakeholders including Fortune 500 partners
- Build and mentor a team of futurist researchers and prototype engineers
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government labs
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology paradigms
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent technical field
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario development capabilities
- Deep network within global innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, EU, Asia)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology disruption
- Experience scaling high-impact R&D teams with $10M+ budgets
