Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable web applications using React, Node.js, and cloud infrastructure
- Lead code reviews and optimize application performance for 100K+ user platforms
- Collaborate with UX designers to translate mockups into pixel-perfect responsive interfaces
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services with secure authentication
- Mentor junior developers through pair programming and technical documentation
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and monitor application health using DevOps practices
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with emerging web technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional web development experience with portfolio of production applications
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React, Node.js, and modern CSS frameworks
- Strong understanding of database design (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and API architecture
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proven track record of optimizing applications for scalability and performance
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to security best practices
- BS/CS degree or equivalent practical experience with relevant certifications
