Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Node.js, Python, and AWS Lambda
- Lead API development with GraphQL/REST and optimize database performance (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to build responsive React/Angular front-end applications
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Drive technical debt reduction and system scalability initiatives
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to product architecture decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one backend framework (Node.js, Django, or Spring)
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven track record of building production-grade RESTful APIs and event-driven systems
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, PyTest, Cypress) and TDD methodologies
- Experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts
